This is a 30-second animation for the 2024 ISEA introduction video. I worked as both the Director and Producer for this short 2D animation and we had around 10 weeks to finish it along with a couple of other projects. I mainly focused on the storytelling aspect using color, themes, and designs that fit the project. All of this was drawn frame by frame in 12 fps.

Reflection

This was an interesting project to work on since it was pretty different compared to Kinship, which was my first project in the first semester. I took all the things I learned from that project to make this project a smoother experience. I think I did a good job overall since we were able to turn this in a week and a half early. I planned for things to go wrong so I gave everyone an extra 2 weeks for any potential issues that came up. Fortunately, we only had to use a few days of the extra time so things couldn't have gone better. This made me realize the importance of effective communication between team members and a consistent work ethic since those were the main factors that contributed to the success of the project.
